REVA, Inc., Air Ambulance Provider, Earns Organ Program Contract at Cleveland Clinic Florida

REVA Air Ambulance is pleased to announce it has been approved as the organ transportation carrier for Cleveland Clinic Florida (CCF), of Weston, Fla.  REVA, Inc. is the North American industry leader in the air ambulance and medical transportation fields.

Organ transportation requires the highest level of facility-to-facility coordination, said REVA’s director of marketing. “Timing is of the essence,” she said.  “Throughout the organ-transport process, REVA’s team performs constant monitoring and engages in thorough communication to ensure the highest quality standards, successfully complying with the contractual agreement in place.”

REVA’s marketing director noted that organ transport requires an extraordinary level of 24/7 readiness over a wide geographic area.  REVA’s certified ground, medical and flight crews operate a fleet of medically equipped Learjets and fixed-wing aircraft that cover the North American Continent, Caribbean Basin, Central and South America, and European and other international locations. Currently, organ transport services are offered in the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services “Region 3,” which consists of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Puerto Rico.

The CCF organ transportation contract, initiated in August, coincides with the completion of Cleveland Clinic Florida’s first year as an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) approved facility.  Cleveland Clinic Florida will perform heart, liver, and kidney transplant services.
