Steve Willams

Director of Global Air Medical Operations

Steve has a wealth of knowledge in the industry, with more than 30 years of experience in emergency medicine as an emergency flight nurse, emergency manager and a disaster responder. His career began as a nurse in the United Kingdom and then Central America before beginning work at NYC trauma center. In 1993, Steve took the position as Director of Emergency Services at Miami Beach’s Mount Sinai Medical Center, during which he also served as a Chief Flight Nurse for South Florida’s Lifeflight program. In that position, he flew over 2,000 hours with critically ill and injured patients to bring them to the safety and care they needed.


Steve also brings 17 years of experience from Carnival Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean where he led medical and emergency care operations. In this role, he pioneered the first electronic medical record for cruise ships and created the first CARE teams in the cruise sector. His most recent assignment before joining REVA was as Deputy Fleet Medical Director for MSC Cruises Management.
