“The REVA team really saved my friend's life and I can't thank them enough.” — Hear From Clients We’ve Helped

5 Star Rating
My job over the last 15 years (as a safety supervisor and expedition paramedic for Shark Week) demands that I have a professional emergency evacuation plan should there be a sentinel event or shark attack during a production. REVA has been a pivotal part of my overall pre-planning for an emergency when filming in the Caribbean and beyond. Their team is nothing less than top shelf. I have been a mobile intensive care paramedic and flight paramedic for over 25 years and I know professionalism when I see it. REVA's team exudes professionalism and competence in my humble opinion. REVA will always be my first and only choice for air medical evacuation, without hesitation.

Key Reasons to Consider Air Medical Transport

When traveling by ground ambulance or on a commercial plane isn’t safe due to a critical condition, an air ambulance is the most dependable option. REVA’s aircraft are equipped like flying intensive care units, with monitoring systems, life-support equipment, and emergency medications to keep even the most fragile patients stable in the air.

You may need an air ambulance if:

    • A stroke, heart attack, or severe injury requires immediate transfer to a higher-level hospital
    • Hospitals at your location don’t have the pediatric specialists or technology to treat your child’s condition
    • A newborn or young child needs an incubator or pediatric-specific monitoring during flight
    • Post-surgical recovery, mobility limitations, or ongoing treatments make flying commercially unsafe
    • A patient overseas must be flown home or brought closer to family through an international flight

Air Ambulance in Dayton: What to Know Before Calling

How much does an air ambulance cost?

The cost of an air ambulance depends on flight distance, required medical equipment, and how quickly the transfer needs to be arranged. We’ll provide an upfront estimate before scheduling the flight, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

        Is this covered by insurance?

Many insurance plans cover air ambulance flights when a physician confirms they’re medically necessary. REVA works directly with insurers to manage claims and reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

Can family members be on the flight?

Often, yes. If space and safety guidelines allow, a parent, spouse, or caregiver can travel alongside the patient for comfort and reassurance.

        Do you fly internationally?

Yes! REVA arranges international air ambulance flights between the U.S and leading hospitals across Europe, the Caribbean, and the Americas, handling customs and clearances so you can focus on your loved one.
