New E-Passport Requirement
As you may be aware, the United States now requires (effective April 1, 2016) a valid e-Passport (with a chip) for anyone to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program.
To facilitate meeting clients’ aero-medical needs and avoid passport-related transport delays, REVA encourages dissemination of this information and securing of e-Passports.
A patient not having an e-Passport will not prevent us from transporting the patient; however, we will have to apply for a medical parole at a cost of $365.00 increasing the cost of the transport and possibly delaying departure.
