FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — REVA recently earned double affirmation from the National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA), the highly respected oversight agency, for confirmation of best practices in the medical transport industry.
REVA, North America’s largest fixed-wing jet air-ambulance service, earned accreditation for its medical escort services and re-accreditation for its air-medical transport.
The reviews were conducted simultaneously.
Through the accreditation process, REVA demonstrated compliance in each of the defined standards, excelled in identifying best-practice procedures, and instilled these values in each employee. NAAMTA verified REVA’s compliance through employee interviews, on-site evaluations, and process reviews, all of which were conducted using precise auditing guidelines.
“We are gratified by the recognition we have received from NAAMTA,” said Shannon Schell, REVA’s CEO. “It is the culmination of day-to-day hard work and dedication by our team to ensure REVA sets the standard in the air-ambulance industry. NAAMTA Global Standards identify criteria in all aspects of medical transport, including business policies, licensure, education, continued skills competencies, communications and vehicle maintenance. The independent, external audit affirmed that REVA practices safe, quality patient care in each of the categories measured by NAAMTA.
