Santa Arriving Just in Time

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Stuart Hayman, CEO of air-ambulance service REVA, will don his Santa outfit, pack up his sleigh and get the reindeer airborne to provide a welcome visit from the jolly old elf to children at 10 a.m. Dec. 20 at Hospital Pediatrico & Universitario in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.

The visit is from 10 A.M. to noon and will include gifts and music for children who are undergoing medical care and won’t be home with family for Christmas.

REVA, the largest air-ambulance service in North America, operates a base in San Juan and recently took a hit from Hurricane Maria, which blew the roof off a hangar and demolished the building’s rear. Despite the circumstances, REVA was the first civilian aircraft to touch down to help after the hurricane and continues aiding recovery efforts.

“REVA is part of the community,” Hayman said. “Playing Santa and bringing smiles to children is all part of it. Besides, it’s fun.”
